Math and Music are connected to each other.  This Math/Music lesson uses an experimental language called Dogo.  The structure of Dogo will change in the near future but the essential syntax and ideas will remain the same.

I am using a web page that is being used with 5th grade students in the USA.  The students are clicking on different examples, changing some numbers and playing around.  They are then inwardly inspired to create their own creation and are saving them in their own Google documents.

If you stumbled upon this page and are ready to explore feel free to send us feedback or questions or your own creations and we try to respond and maybe use your art and idea in the web page.

This idea is to view math as a language that inspires us to create beautiful music and art and share it with others.  Note that if you write some code in the Dogo editor the URL changes automatically.  If you copy the URL and send it to someone (works on most browsers and java script must be enabled) then the other person can view you creation.

This is an draft lesson that explores, pitch, duration, octaves and time in an experimental way.
